Floor Loom Studio Weaving holds the intention and vision for the option of an on-going weaving and creative practice whether you are an absolute beginner, a seasoned weaver or anywhere in between. And, it’s a great way to try your hand at the full set up and weaving on a floor loom as a beginners experience.
Set up as a community weaving studio all tools and looms are provided while having a place to share with others in creative practice through the medium of textile art, craft, design, storytelling and beyond.
Sessions are 4 weeks (8 classes) - Join us for 4 only weeks or choose to continue 4 weeks at a time for as long as you’d like to deepen your practice.
There are no set dates, enrollment is always open and on-going. You are able to hop in at any time as long as there is a loom available. For this reason, please join the waitlist if the listing shows sold out.

The studio pictured has moved from the Western Mass location. While our upcoming barn studio renovation is underway all studio classes will be in our lil 1850s farmhouse, in Canaan Ny!

Join us monthly for a light nourishing meal, a new moon circle with ritual, and an intuitive weaving meditation.
We meet monthly on the Tuesday evening closest to the New Moon 6-9pm. A light nourishing meal is provided.
May 19 - June 16 - July 14 (the actual new moon!) - August 11 - September 8 - October 13 - November 10 - December 8 (the actual new moon!)
This offering has been created to honor and reflect the cycles of the moon, meeting each month around the New Moon to set intentions, plant seeds and to reflect and share with others.
This offering is not a weaving class, but rather a meditation coming into our body by using our hands to weave, quieting our minds, and creating space for our inner guidance to come alive.
What to expect:
Upon arrival we will share a light + healthy nourishing meal together before gathering in circle to explore the themes and energies of the current New Moon. Each circle there will be writing prompts, time to share within the circle and a ritual to plant seeds of intention. This leads us into our intuitive weaving meditation which will be our time to turn inward allowing the voice and powers of intuition to rise. We will close the circle honoring our time and all that was created together.
Looms, tools, and materials will be provided. No astrology or weaving experience necessary, trust that you have all that you need.
This is not a weaving class with instruction. I will give basic foundational guidance and of course always welcome questions as you deepen into the practice, however this is an exploration into your creative powers, intuition, and self exploration through the medium of weaving. You are invited to trust all that unfolds.
We will be using extra special handcrafted arched looms made especially and solely for Intuitive Weaving and are available as a kit if you are called to weave outside of our time together, but purchase is not necessary for the circle.
